ORDERING AND PAYMENT
We are open for business 24/7 when ordering online, our customer service representatives are available to answer your questions and assist you with orders Monday - Friday from 9:00am – 5:00pm West Australian time, excluding public holidays. Payments will be processed with PayPal. If you have any problems, please email us or call our customer service department during trading hours on +61 8 6188 3671 and we will be happy to assist you.
SHIPPING OPTIONS
Packages are shipped using Australia Post. We attempt to ship within 2 working days, (Monday through to Friday) excluding Public holidays. Over the busy holiday season, this may be increased to 3-5 working days, Please view the Australia post web site for estimate delivery times. However we cannot guarantee that Australia Post will deliver within this time frame, due to peak period and transit issues, etc.
Delcrest – The Gourmet Pantry will not refund or replace any damaged or missing item that has been left on the recipient’s property without a signature for delivery. Authorization to leave any parcel on premises or in a non-secure location may void refunds, damages or missing item policy.
Although we might provide the option for you to select whether you want an order to be left at the door if nobody is home to sign for it, the decision to leave the package or not is at the sole discretion of the shipping carrier's delivery driver. If you are delivering to an apartment that does not have a receiving area for packages, the carrier's delivery driver will also not leave the package outside of your door. We cannot be responsible for packages that are not left due to the named circumstances above.
ORDER CANCELLATION / MODIFICATION
We will honor all order cancellation and modification requests as much as possible. However, if your order has already been shipped it is impossible to cancel or modify. During November and December simply due to the sheer volume of holiday orders, we are not able to cancel or modify orders once they are placed.
RETURNS
We only accept the return of non-perishable, canned or sealed packaged food items, that have not be tampered with, opened, and must be in suitable condition for resale. Request for returns must be received within 48 hours of receiving the product. Any returned merchandise can only be accepted if it is in perfect resalable condition. Note: There is a 5% or $5 restocking fee, whichever is greater. All freight and postage charges will be the responsibility of the customers, and you will be charged accordingly. Refunds will be credited to the purchased account, once the products have been received by our warehouse and checked for damages. When returning products, ensure the correct packaging is used, to ensure that the product is not damaged in transit.
DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED MERCHANDISE
We take all measures possible to assure your order is received intact and in proper condition. Sometimes the delivery can get a bit bumpier than usual. In the event that you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact us immediately (within 48 hours) after receiving your order. Do not throw anything out or discard any items, as we may require them to be sent back. The easiest way to help us resolve any defective or damaged merchandise is to email us a photo of the item.
Please then call us at 08 6188 3671 during work hours. Depending on the issue; the order issue may be resolved with a replacement product being issued, a store credit, a refund, or any other means we feel is appropriate.
DISPUTES
Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to Delcrest - The Gourmet Pantry or to products you purchase through Delcrest - The Gourmet Pantry shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in Perth, Australia, except that, to the extent you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate Delcrest - The Gourmet Pantry's intellectual property rights, Delcrest - The Gourmet Pantry may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any court in Australia, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. Arbitration under this agreement shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing of an independent arbitrator. The arbitrator's award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Agreement shall be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.
